What this site does with information, in normal words. Short version: we count visits without cookies, payments go through Stripe, and what you send us in a form goes to one inbox.
01Who we are
Culture is a streetwear brand run by Rodney Gilcreast Jr. This page covers the Culture website at culture26.com. Questions about any of it go to info@culture26.com.
02Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any host, Netlify handles the connection that delivers the pages to your browser and may keep standard server logs under its own policies.
03Payments
Orders are paid through Stripe. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
- Culture never sees or stores your card number. It goes straight to Stripe.
- Stripe sends your confirmation email and receipt number. Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- We use your shipping address to ship your order. We do not sell it or rent it.
04Visit counting
We count visits with our own simple counter. No cookies, no third-party analytics, no ad trackers. Here is exactly what it keeps:
- Visitor id
- A random code kept in your browser's local storage. It is not tied to your name or email.
- Session id
- Resets after 30 idle minutes.
- What was viewed
- The page path, and the referrer channel (for example Instagram or direct).
- Device & place
- Device type, and country.
- Not counted
- No personal data. Admin pages are never counted.
You can clear your browser's local storage at any time and the visitor id goes with it.
05Forms and sign-ups
The site has forms for a model application, a brand collaboration, an order-help request, a drop list and a member list. They are processed by Netlify Forms, which receives what you type and passes it to Culture.
- What you type into a form is used by Culture only, to answer you or review your application. Replies come from info@culture26.com.
- If you sign up for the drop list, your email (and your phone number, only if you choose to give it) is used only for drop alerts. If you join the member list, your email is used only for membership.
- Only send what you are comfortable sending. A form is not a promise of a reply or of work.
- Each submission is also saved in Culture's own private storage so the team can review it. Only the people running Culture can open it.
- Email we send you (a receipt for an application, a certificate, a shipping notice) goes out through an email delivery service that handles only the message and your address.
- Text alerts: we text only people who ticked the text box and gave their number. Up to 4 a month. Reply STOP any time to end them, HELP for help. Texts go out through a text-message service. Your phone number and text consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
- Order lookups on the Track page need both your receipt number and your email, and show only the carrier and tracking details.
06Accounts
The account page can show your tier. When you look it up with your email and an order receipt number, the request goes to Culture's member portal, which reads your paid orders from Stripe to work out your tier. The page does not keep your email. If you choose to log in with your email or Google, that sign-in is handled on the member portal.
07Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
08Your rights
In plain words, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it, and
- stop contacting you.
Email info@culture26.com and a person will answer. Your local law may give you more rights than this list.
09Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters a lot, we will say so on the site.
